Midterm grades came home today.  Please check your child’s folder.

The 5th grade Girls on the Run team is holding a supply drive for the Brave Breed Animal Rescue in West Milton.   A flyer came home today in your child’s folder with additional information and a complete list of items the rescue shelter is in need of .  The supply drive will be held all next week and you can drop items off in the office or send them in with your child.  A few items they are hoping to collect are: dog collars, leashes, heavy duty dog toys, cleaning supplies, paper towels, old towels, laundry soap, to name a few.

Monday May 6th is Part 2 of the State of Ohio 3rd 4th and 5th grade Math test.  Please make sure you’re your child is at school on time Monday morning. 

Tuesday May 7 from 6:00PM-7:00PM is the Parent Engagement Series.  It will be held in the Media Center. 

Wednesday, May 8th is the 5th grade Invention Convention.  It will be so much fun to see how our students used their problem solving skills to create inventions that will improve our lives.

May 8th is the Last Day to order a Milton-Union Elementary Fun Day T-shirt.  The cost is $9.95 and must be ordered online.  The shirts come in youth and adult sizes and will be distributed to your student during the week of the 20th.  The website to order will be located in the weekly update notes on the news section of our website.  

Friday May 10th is the 3rd grade field trip to Stillwater and the Hug the Earth Festival with the Banana Slugs.

Also, Friday May 10th is MUES Night with the Dayton Dragons at Fifth-Third Field.  Come out and root on the Dragons and hear our 4th and 5th Grade Choir perform God Bless America at the 7th inning stretch.  Keep those fingers crossed for dry weather.
