On Saturday, April 21, 2018 and in partnership with Troy Ford, Milton-Union Schools will host the Ford Motor Company's Drive One 4 UR School Fundraiser from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. The Drive One 4 UR School program was developed as a fun, engaging way to help schools raise money to support various instructional, co-curricular, and extracurricular activities. Ford and Ford Lincoln Dealerships partner with local schools to conduct a test-drive fundraising event. For every valid test-drive completed, Ford Motor Company will donate $20 to the participating school - up to 300 drivers and $6,000!
All individuals willing to complete a test drive must be at least 18 and will be accompanied by volunteer school staff as they complete a loop around the parking lot along the north side of the building. No one except test drivers will be permitted to drive in the area at the front of the building.
Troy Ford plans to bring ten different vehicles and will set-up in front of the high school entrance. There is no sales pitch, and no selling is allowed. Participants will only be asked to complete a short questionnaire to rate the vehicle and complete the process. The drive and questionnaire must be completed for Ford to make the $20 donation. For each participant, the entire process should take no longer than 15 minutes.
Please note: On April 21, there will a number of activities taking place on school grounds. When driving along Milton-Potsdam Road and passing in front of the school building, interested participants will see the Troy Ford tent, balloons, check-in area, etc. set-up at the front of the high school (northwest side of the building). Participants should enter the second driveway (near the tennis court), park in the MS/HS staff member parking lot, and walk around the side of the building to the Troy Ford tent.
Please spread the word and share with friends and supporters of the Milton-Union School community! We hope to maximize the donation made to our school buildings and distributed equally among the high school, middle school, elementary, and athletic department. The more people who test-drive a Ford or Lincoln vehicle at the event, the more money can be raised!
