Good evening, Bulldog Families, it’s time for your weekly update.
Next week is a shortened week for students, but very busy.
Monday, the 25th, picture packets will be sent home with our students.
Also on Monday, your child will be bringing home a purple paper regarding the school based dental program. This program is optional and open to all students whether they have dental insurance or not. If you choose for your child to have their teeth cleaned and be seen by the dentist you will need to complete the purple form and send it back with your child by Wednesday October 27th for them to be on the dentist's schedule. The mobile dental program will be on site November 8th though 11th. No child will be turned away for any reason. Additional information will come home with the permission form on Monday.
Wednesday, October 27th is our Halloween Parade (weather permitting). Parade watchers may line up on either side of the sidewalk from the front doors of the ES around the corner and through the gates to the playground. The parade ends on the playground where parents can take a picture of their child and friends. The parade begins at 9:15am. Please keep the costumes school appropriate, no blood or weapons (real or fake) of any kind are permitted. If it is raining, we will not have parade. Keep your fingers crossed for dry weather.
Wednesday the 27th is the last student day of the week.
Important dates coming up…
3rd grade ELA State of Ohio testing will be Tuesday the 2nd and Thursday the 4th of November.
Picture Retake Day is Friday, November 5th.
Grade Cards go home Friday, November 5th.
Parent-Teacher conferences are November 9th and 11th.
Cookie Dough delivery will be on November 10th between 3:00 and 6:00 PM. More details to follow.
