Just a reminder to parents that you are not permitted to get out of the car in the afternoon pick up line to load your children. It is a safety concern having car doors and children getting in on the driver’s side and holds up traffic for everyone behind you. Please remain in your car and allow your children to get in on the passenger side of the vehicle.
Tomorrow, Saturday, March 19th from 8-11am is the Milton-Union Education Foundation’s Spring Sling. The event will be held in the cafeteria. A delicious pancake breakfast will be served, families can listen to stories and do crafts with the Milton-Union Public Library staff and inflatables will be there for the children. Tickets are $5 for children 5 and under and $10 anyone over 6 years of age. Students must be accompanied by an adult to attend.
Calling all students who will be 5 by on or before July 31, 2022. Kindergarten Roundup is this Thursday, March 24th from 6:30-7:30 in the Elementary Gym. Families can meet the teachers, gather information about the Kindergarten Screening and Registration Process and ask questions they may have about their child coming to school. Students will get to visit the kindergarten classroom to do a craft and some activities during the parent portion of the meeting. If you have a prospective Kindergartener or know someone who does, please share this information with them.
There will be no school on Friday, March 25 for teacher professional learning and work time.
Spring break will be March 26-April 3.
