Good evening Elementary Bulldog Families it is time for your weekly update:
Parents, if you drop your child off in the morning to eat breakfast, we ask that you please have them here by 8:45am. Breakfast service ends at 8:55am and it takes our students about 10 minutes to go up to their classroom, drop off their bookbag, get their lanyard and walk to the cafeteria to grab breakfast. Classes start promptly at 9:00am.
Please make sure you check your child’s folder tonight for the school picture order forms. Fall pictures and class pictures will both be taken on Tuesday, September 20th. I realize the class picture order form is not included. Expressions will deliver those to us as soon as they are printed and we will send them home at that time. Please do not send in your picture packets back until picture day. We do not have the space to securely store packets with money in them.
Just a reminder to give your bus drivers a little grace with their daily schedule for pick up or drop off of your child. Sometimes the route times could vary by 5-10 minutes faster or slower than scheduled due to traffic, students being absent, etc.
This week’s happenings:
Wednesday the 14th is a 2-hour delay for our students. Staff will be participating in ongoing professional learning during this time. Elementary drop off will be from 10:30-10:55. Please note that breakfast is not served at school on any delay days. Please make sure they eat at home.
Wednesday night at 6:00PM is our second PTO meeting for the year in the Lowry Learning Center. All parents are welcome to join. Our PTO plans and supports activities and events for our students throughout the year.
