The Milton-Union MVCTC FFA Chapter hosted its 8th Annual Parent-Member Banquet last Saturday. During the evening, members were recognized for achievements such as class leadership awards, CDE participation, and chapter proficiency awards. Thank you to the 160+ parents, members, and special guests who joined us and the generous contributions by banquet donors who made it possible!

Thank you to M-U/MVCTC STEM advisory committee member Julie Motz and senior ECT student Zach Kranz of the University of Dayton who helped facilitate Ms. Henderson's classes on Thursday, May 11, as students practiced their skills soldering flashlight circuit boards. Very cool!
After reading Much Ado About Nothing in class, Mrs. Davis's Honors and CP English 10 classes experienced the magic of live performance through a performance and workshop by the Cincinnati Shakespeare Company through Muse Machine. Students had fun opportunities to choose how actors performed or interpreted specific scenes: Should Beatrice and Benedick have a rap battle or dance battle? Should Benedick hide in plain sight as a fountain or a statue? Should the Friar act like a baby or an old man? #CreatingAwesome
Milton-Union and Miami East students participated in a Shoes 4 the Shoeless event this morning, providing over 30 pairs of shoes for elementary-aged students. #ComMUnity

Bus number 9 and bus number 24 WILL run morning routes on Friday, May 5, but will be UNABLE to run middle/high and elementary school AFTERNOON routes the same day. Meaning, students may ride district transportation in the morning, but families will need to make other arrangements for afternoon pick-up. If you are unable to make transportation arrangements after the school day for FRIDAY, May 5 or if you have attendance questions, please contact the appropriate building office.

Matteo Rench and Paige Gallup both qualified for the final round of the Regional Civics Bee at Sinclair which involved an interview! Matteo placed second and also qualified for state competition! Milton-Union Middle School was AWESOME! #BulldogPride
