We are excited to welcome our new Choir Director to the Bulldog family! He will be teaching 6–12 Choir and brings a passion for music education and helping students grow through their love of music.
A graduate of Bowling Green State University with a bachelor’s degree in Music Education, he was inspired to become an educator by his high school AP Music Theory teacher, Mrs. Bierschenk, who encouraged students to always do their best.
This year, he is most excited to begin making music with all of the choirs at Milton-Union. Outside of school, he enjoys arranging and composing music.
His message to students and families:
“I am so excited to be the choir director at Milton-Union and am looking forward to all of the fun music we will be learning.”
Welcome to Milton-Union!

Kyleigh is making a difference through music education as the K–12 Vocal Music Teacher at Newton Local Schools. She teaches general music, junior high choir, and high school choir while also serving as the color guard and winter guard director at Versailles High School.
After graduating from MUHS, Kyleigh earned her bachelor’s degree in music education from the University of Dayton. One of her proudest accomplishments has been developing Versailles High School’s winter guard program into two successful groups that have earned numerous high placements and advanced to a nationally recognized class.
Kyleigh credits former music teacher Kelly Mahaney with encouraging her to pursue her passion, believe in herself, and become the kind of caring and inspiring music educator Kelly was for her.
Her advice to today’s Bulldogs: “Try new things, and don’t let other people tell you not to!”
We are proud to celebrate Kyleigh and the positive impact she continues to make through music!
