The following immunizations were due prior school starting: tdap and meningitis. These are required per Ohio law. Students must have proof of these immunizations turned in by September 15th or they will be excluded from school starting September 16th. Absences due to this are considered unexcused. This year at MUMS, Miss Saharra Williamson will be completing her School Counseling internship through the University of Dayton. She will be joining me in classrooms, working with groups, and working with students one-on-one. Please welcome her to our Bulldog family!!
Homework Club for middle school students starts Monday, August 30th! This is open to any middle school student, running from 2:40 to 3:40 Monday - Thursday every week. Any student can stay for help any day. We provide a snack and help with homework. If you have any questions, please contact the MS office.

Congratulations to the students and teachers who were part of the Great Books, Great Experiences enrichment session this week. They finished their week of gothic reading with a breakout room. They made it out just in time!!

Attention 8th grade parents, students need to bring their $5 to the office to help pay for the pizza party lunch they will have after the 8th Grade Promotion ceremony next Thursday. Congratulations go out to our Milton-Union Middle School Destination Imagination Team! The team competed at the State Competition and qualified to compete at Global Finals. Way to go!
This message is to the parent/guardian of boys currently in 6th and 7th grade. The Milton-Union Boys Basketball program will be hosting its annual youth basketball camp this summer after having to miss last summer. This camp is for boys currently in 6th and 7th grade who want to learn more or get better at the game of basketball. Camp this year will be June 7th-10th. Early registration deadline is May 28th. Information and registration forms are being sent home this week with your son. Registrations are also available at www.murasports.com as well as posted on Facebook and Twitter.
